Shady Nook Recreation Centre 

This year's event will once again support local Cancer Care right here close to home at the Pembroke Regional Hospital.  Funds raised at this year's event will go towards purchasing a new Neoprobe Device for Breast Surgery.  This device is often used in the cancer surgeries, such as breast cancer to locate and assess the status of sentinel lymph nodes.  The probe helps surgeons precisely locate and assess these nodes during surgery, meaning higher success rate during surgeries and potential of less tissue being removed.
